Now we have started a new unit (again), and this time we are going to create a cup or some type of vessel out of clay. We are allowed to create whatever design we want to, so this will be a very interessting unit. Up till now, I have absolutely no idea what to create. The lesson today, we experienced with clay (to make our hands dirty) and maybe get inspired by it. Some in my class have started designing or even creating their cups already, but I don't know what I want.
At the beginning of the lesson, I started to sketch some ideas in my notebook, but I soon realized that these were not the type of cups/vessels that I really wanted to make. One idea was to create a cup with many different words like love, faith, trust, dream (just as the clock that I made), as this is something very personal to me. What I actually want to create, is something brand new, which has never been invented before. There is some time before our next Art lesson, so therefore I will be thinking about some ideas in my Easter holidays. I hope to come back with a great idea, to start with the artwork as soon as possible.
