I had to change idea for my Art work becuase I found out I was going out the country meaning that I only had 90 min to finish my product. Instead of doing a triangle, which would take a lot of time, I had a second idea of having something with the facebook logo, as it was something everyone knew about and almost everyone used.

Why I did chose to make this product?
Pop Art is made of objects in life that means a lot to most people, something that is well-known and used much daily. It is like the opposite way of painting abstract, where cones, cubes and circles are used creating a piece of work that we have to figure out ourself. When it started in the 1960st the pop artists used objects and images that people knew a lot, and turned it into straightforward and fun art.
My product is an example of pop art because it includes the symbol a lot of people knows of, F for Facebook. It is used by a lot of people all around the world, so that they can connect with each other - which is why I chose to write 'Connecting People' underneath on the frame. In addition to the writing, I included a picture of four different people in each corner and roads that connected them, meaning that whereever in the world you are, you are still connected with each other. Like other Pop Art work, I also used the same symbol with different bright colours so it is fun to look at.
If looking not only inside the frame but outside as well, the whole piece of work, we can see that it forms some kind of window with the frame and some kind of cross inside looking at the 'F'. The reason for doing this was to in a way welcome people to the fun facebook where everyone is and connect with them for the better. I was actually also going to include some green and blue to form the globe or the map of the world, but due to the time restrictions I was not able to do it.
Overall I didn't think it was my best piece of work, but since I had only got 90 min in class, and some time outside class, I think it was okay. I am happy that I was finished on time, and remained positive in doing so.
